Sometimes I feel like we live in a world where comparing ourselves to each other is the only way to dictate our own success. We watch others lose weight, gain muscle, hit 6 figures in business, run their dream job and we stop and think well what about me? Probably thinking how cool it would be to do something like this or that, right? Yet, we single ourselves out, give up because someone else hit where you think you want to be and then proceed to tell yourself you can not do this. Have you ever thought about any of this?
I know it seems hard sometimes to vision your life to be where you hope it to be. I know, because I can relate. Upon graduating high school, I wasn’t sure where I was going to be living let alone my career. Always had a passion for fitness thought owning a gym would be great but never took the steps to own one just talked a lot about it. Every day I had to wake up go to work and know that I am not getting any closer to the goal and being at work dreaming about well, the dream job!
My life didn’t start till I started. Started to take charge and stop throwing myself pity parties because no one was coming. I had to get out of the stage where I felt sorry for myself because it wasn’t going to be getting me no where that is for sure. The most important thing you can do for you is to tell yourself “you can”. I will never fall for the age thing, weight thing etc because I truly believe we all have a purpose in this life and it is really up to you to find out what you are truly passionate about!
If you haven’t I highly suggest reading the book quitter then I think you should! Here is my YouTube on it! http://youtu.be/v8A13bqX1bs
