1 Corinthians 5:17 says – “Since you are in Christ you are a new creation, behold old things have passed away and new things have come”
I am passionate about helping people become whole in Christ. I love to encourage people to find workouts and exercises that they actually love doing when it comes to working out. Not everybody wakes up and gets excited about working out. What’s most important is that it’s not just about the number on the scale, but that you have fun working out.
It’s not about this chore, or this checklist, or this to-do item, but that we begin to look at working out as a form of worship where we want to become healthy and whole in Christ so that we can live long and we can be there for our children and for our spouse. That’s what’s most important.
I combine the wholeness of Christ, and the wellness with the fitness, and the exercise and the nutrition together because they go together. They shouldn’t be separate.
For a long, long time I tried to find my identity in my body. I thought if I had bigger muscles and six pack abs I would just be loved and I would be found and I would be worth it. But it was all emptiness that I felt. I don’t want you to do things that leave you feeling unfulfilled anymore. I don’t want you to chase things. I don’t want you to chase after the win. I want you to chase after the One who created you.
This is about becoming whole in Christ, and being able to look in the mirror and say, “I love you,” and so you can really begin to believe that, that you love yourself the way that God created you despite the number on the scale, what society tells us is perfect, but you know who you are.
Again, this is about fitness. This is about health and nutrition, but most importantly this is about becoming whole in the process.
